SUMMER ADVENTURES

CANOE TOUR

Canoeing gives us the opportunity to come close to nature and really experience the Arctic forest in Swedish Lapland. We make a stop at a nice place to have an outdoor meal next to a camp fire with coffee or tea. This is a full day experience and we paddle about 10-15 km.

MIDNIGHT SUN CANOE TOUR

Silent canoe tour in the midnight sun with good chances to spot wild animals such as the cool beaver. Learn how to paddel a canoe. The route will be decided from day to day depending on weather and water levels so that we can offer you the best experience. 

CROSS-COUNTRY CYCLING

Deep down in the silent forests you can find the old biking roads that were used as transportation roads for the woodsmens. We bike on well prepared trails and get to know more about their history.  Includes local guide, bike, helmet, outdoor lunch and hot/cold drinks.

BOAT TRIP WITH FISHING

Fishing from a boat is the perfect way to experience excitment and piecefull nature at the same time. We are hunting for typical nordic fishes! You get to learn different fishing techniques. If we are luckey to catch some nice fish we cook it over the fire together with a ”Swedish fika” and coffee!   

MOUNTAIN HIKE

Forest hike to a mountain top with stunning views over Kalix valley. On this tour we will combine hiking with learning more about the Arctic taiga forest and the nordic animals. On the top we’ll enjoy our outdoor lunch together with coffee brewed over open fire. 

SUMMER WEEKEND 5D/4N

This is a five-day (four nights) summer experience in Swedish Lapland. Accommodation in comfortable huts at Jockfall Lodge and with possibility to try sleeping outside in a Tentipi one night. We will do typical Nordic activities like hiking, fat bike cycling and canoeing.

HORSE CARRIAGE RIDE

Peace and quiet close to nature – carriage rides with North Swedish draft horse. Our friends Ida and Daniel at Cederings hästar offer tours by horse in the village Kalixälv in Överkalix, located next to the river of the same name – Kalixälv/Kalix river.

WINTER ADVENTURE HIKE 5D/4N

This is a five-day winter adventure hike with two nights spent in a Tentipi, in the wild forest of Swedish Lapland and two nights spent inside in a cabin. We experience the true arctic winter.

WINTER WEEK 5D/4N

This is a five-day winter experience in Swedish Lapland. Accommodation in comfortable huts at Jockfall Lodge and with possibility to sleep outside in a Tentipi. We’ll do typical Nordic outdoor activities.

HORSE SLED RIDE

This is a really nice winter experience where you go out on a tour together with Daniel, Ida and their friendly horse. The tour goes close to the Kalix river and ends at their home with swedish fika.
