During season 21/22 Cederings unfortunately doesn’t offer tours.
Thanks to our friends Daniel and Ida at Cederings Hästar we can now offer you a beautiful horse carrige ride along the mighty Kalix River!
Peace and quiet close to nature – carriage rides with North Swedish draft horse. We offer tours by horse in the village Kalixälv in Överkalix, located next to the river of the same name – Kalixälv/Kalix river.
We start by preparing the horse for a carriage ride. The horse is of the breed north Swedish draft horse, an old Swedish country breed and we are happy to tell more about the breed’s origin and history for the curious. Then we go on a tour through the village, parts of the tour go close by the Kalix river and offer magical views of nature and flowing water. When we return to the farm, we end with “Swedish fika” (coffee / tea / juice and snacks). In rainy weather we enjoy it indoors in the farm’s summer cottage.
The total time for the experience is about 2 – 3 hours.
Meeting point: at Cederings Hästar in the village Kalix Älv on agreed time.

booked date, 50% if the activity is canceled 8 days or less before the booked date and 25% if
the activity is canceled 16 days or less before the booked date.
